Happy Birthday to our Kate! Phew! You made it to five. This year has been filled with a lot of change for you. Some of those changes included a baby brother, a change of roommates (you swapped out Elsa for Sophia), a change of hairstyle (see below for more details), and a little LESS change when it comes to clothing (finally, you don't have to change your clothes every five minutes, however, Sophia has stepped right in to quick change champion in our home! )
One thing that has not changed is your disposition. You experience the HIGHS and the LOWS in extremes. You are either giddy with happiness, or in the depths of despair (someone looked at you the wrong way). You had a lot of adventures this past year too - like running to the church, by yourself, in your tights, in the snow, at dusk, while your parents were at choir practice because you were upset at Abe and Elsa who were home with you. You definately have your own opinions and sense of style. You want to fix your own hair - and man oh man did you FIX it earlier this year!! Thank heavens for Karen Pagliaro and her salon around the corner! Your new haircut actually turned out cute. You thought you looked like "someone else" after you cut your hair - and indeed you did! But cute all the same!
